About Us

Carved on Country is an Aboriginal and family-owned business that specialises in crafting traditional Aboriginal artefacts and tools using native wood carefully sourced from Country. Our work includes Boomerangs, Coolamons, and Didgeridoos — each piece made with cultural integrity and respect.

Our Commitment to Country

Carved on Country creates authentic, handmade artefacts using timber sourced with care and respect.

Unique by Nature: No two pieces are alike. The grain, colour and texture of the wood ensure every item is completely individual.

Ethically Gathered: We harvest only what we need, with minimal disruption to the land, protecting Country for future generations.

Hey Mob,

My name is Kelvin Cattlin, and I’m a proud Wemba Wemba man from Victoria, currently living on Mununjali country.
For over 10 years, I’ve been handcrafting traditional Aboriginal artefacts and tools — each piece carved with purpose, respect, and a deep connection to culture. I’m passionate about keeping our knowledge strong, passing down traditions, and making sure the next generations stay connected and proud.

Alongside my carving, I also work in community as a Community Engagement Officer on Mununjali Country, and previously as a youth and family worker. My heart lies in helping mob heal from intergenerational trauma, find their path, and strengthen their overall wellbeing.
Everything I do is about keeping culture alive and strong.
