The Little Learners Culture Kit has been created for early learning centres, kindergartens and younger primary students to bring Aboriginal culture into everyday play and learning.

The kit includes authentic, handmade Aboriginal artefacts that children can use, explore and learn from, rather than simply having on display.

Drawing on the 8 Aboriginal Ways of Learning, the kit supports learning through story, hands-on experiences, symbols and images, observation, connection to Country and community.

The personalised message stick gives each centre the opportunity to create a meaningful connection to the Country they are on.

Choose to have it engraved with local totem animals, words in the local Aboriginal language, cultural symbols, the centre's name or other meaningful wording.

You choose what you would like included, making each Little Learners Culture Kit unique to your learning environment.

Each artefact is handmade by Carved on Country, an Aboriginal-owned business, with a focus on sharing culture and creating meaningful opportunities for children to connect with Aboriginal culture and Country.
